Michelle Coyle specializes in turning dreams into reality. As the founder and President of BGSD Strategies, a boutique management consulting firm, Michelle guides political businesses and advocacy organizations as they launch and grow. In addition to being a consultant, she is a serial entrepreneur and angel investor, and is currently putting together an early-stage venture capital fund to support woman-founded startups. In the past year, Michelle has been instrumental in launching The Pastorum Group, Women Get It Done, and Campaign Greenhouse while opening and operating a feminist t-shirt shop, DemFeminists, and an activist coworking space, GSD. She also served as a general/digital consultant for several campaigns at the end of the 2016 cycle, including Van Ostern for New Hampshire. Prior to opening her own shop, Michelle consulted for campaigns and nonprofits with several agencies including Rising Tide Interactive, Echo & Co., Care2, and The Julian Mulvey Group. She was named a Rising Star by Campaigns & Elections magazine in 2015. Michelle holds a BA from UT Dallas and an MBA from Dartmouth, and lives in Alexandria with too many people and a couple of cats. In her free time, she has been known to do some amazing karaoke rap performances, and she cherishes her Best Performance Trophy from the AAPC Mid-Atlantic Chapter.
