Brice Barnes is regarded as one of the south’s premier political strategy and finance professionals. She is known throughout the country for her work with democratic candidates and causes. Brice has served as a senior advisor and led the fundraising organizations for politicians including the first female governor in North Carolina; North Carolina’s first woman democrat elected to the US Senate; multiple sitting members of the US House of Representatives; and leaders at all levels in North Carolina. While known for her propensity to win highly contested primaries, her passion is helping elect and cultivate woman leaders.
Over her career, in addition to her clients winning over 86% of the elections where they are on the ballot; Brice has led the teams raising over $30 million, and her political clients raise an average of 172% more than their opponent. Through these efforts she has cultivated an impressive list of contacts and relationships.
Brice founded and currently operates the largest Woman-Run Political Consulting Firm in North Carolina. In addition to her political work, Brice is very active in the community, sitting on multiple boards, and she has a successful track record working with small non-profits and University Development offices (including Duke University and Furman University). In her free time Brice teaches and speaks to groups throughout the country where she focuses on the essentials in running for office and effective fundraising practices. Brice is married and has 2 young boys, Andrew (5) and George (3).
