Paul joined Smart Media Group in early 2007 and serves as COO. In 2014, he oversaw $130 million in media spending for candidates and issue groups across the U.S. and had the privilege of working with some of the largest PACs and party committees. Paul helps clients develop advertising strategy, identify target audiences and negotiate media costs. He has led development of six software programs designed to make political media campaigns faster and more efficient, including one that was named Best New Technology by Campaigns and Elections. In 2014, he led victories across the country including knocking off two Democratic incumbents while working on behalf of Martha McSally and Will Hurd. Paul has been recognized by Campaigns and Elections as a Rising Star and has won six Pollie Awards and five Reed Awards. Prior to joining Smart Media Group, Paul managed political advertising and public relations campaigns around the nation.
