Kate Maeder is a California-based political strategist, who has been working in Democratic politics for nearly a decade. Kate is currently the Campaign Manager for Eleni Kounalakis, who will be the first woman ever elected Lt. Governor in California’s history.
Kate has a deep commitment to electing and empowering more women. She has trained female candidates through Emerge California and organized millennials to get more involved in politics by chairing events for EMILY’s List on the West Coast. She was a lead organizer of Ready for Hillary, and she is the co-founding President of Women Get It Done, an organization creating safe spaces for women to connect and build long-lasting intersectional networks.
Kate is a graduate of University of California, Berkeley. She volunteered for Obama in three states in 2008, and served as the San Francisco Chapter Director of New Leaders Council.
