For over a decade, Carter has been managing major online campaigns for Republican candidates, parties, and public affairs initiatives. She specializes in online communication strategies, web development and online fundraising. Carter manages day-to-day operations for Campaign Solutions / Connell Donatelli and oversees the firm’s numerous business channels.
Carter started as an intern with Campaign Solutions and helped grow the company to a 25-member team with five offices nationwide. Carter currently provides strategic counsel to key clients on the topics of digital campaigning, advertising, fundraising and social media. She works with clients at all levels including three presidential cycles, 3 national Conventions and countless senatorial and congressional campaigns. In addition, Carter supports Campaign Solutions’ account managers in their client relationships and manages the company’s proprietary fundraising system, eDonation.com.
Over her career, some of Carter’s clients include the Republican National Committee; the NRSC; the NRCC; Senator John McCain (presidential and senate races); the 2004, 2008 and 2012 Republican National Conventions; Senator Mark Kirk; Speaker John Boehner; Congressman Sean Duffy; Cheney for Senate; Senator Lisa Murkowski; Ending Spending Action Fund; Colbert SuperPAC; Salute America’s Heroes; and the Pentagon Memorial Fund.
Carter joined Campaign Solutions in 1999 as an intern focusing on John McCain’s first presidential campaign. She returned to the company to support the digital efforts for the 2004 Republican National Convention after attending the Pamplin School of Business at Virginia Tech and working in the private sector. She resides in Alexandria with her husband and three children.
