As Director of Pandora’s West Coast political, advocacy & government advertising sales team, Cassy D. Hough drives strategic marketing guidance and thought leadership to aforementioned organizations and agencies. Her focus is on PACs, unions, campaign consultants and external affairs teams located in California and Western states.
Prior to her focus on the political vertical, Cassy helped launch Pandora’s local advertising business in 2011 shortly after the company’s initial public offering and is credited with the channel’s rapid revenue growth. The local sales force now accounts for 40% of Pandora’s ad revenue.
Prior to Pandora, Cassy worked at CBS Radio and iHeartMedia San Francisco. In that time Bureau (RAB) FastStart to Radio Success Minority Scholarship Program. Additional work experience includes broadcast journalism where she worked on both CNN and NY1 newsdesks in New York City and media planning agency side.
Cassy was named on NBC for the National Association of Asian Pacifics in Politics & Public Affairs (NAAPPPA) “Top 40 Under 40”, was a founding member of the Exploratorium Lab Board during its move to Pier 15 in San Francisco and the American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC) Inaugural Class of 40 under 40 Cassy resides in Marin County with her husband as they chase after two young children on little sleep. Her favorite Pandora station is Yacht Rock.
