Welcomes Facebook as Award Ceremony Partner
McLean, VA (March 17, 2016)—The American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC)—America’s only bipartisan network of political professionals—today announced the winners of the 2016 40 Under 40 Awards program recognizing the best and brightest young professionals working in the United States. Selected from more than 190 nominations, the winners will be recognized at an awards ceremony, sponsored by Facebook, during the 2016 Pollie Awards & Conference in San Juan, Puerto Rico on Tuesday, April 12, 2016.
“Our Class of 2016 has already achieved impressive success in our profession early in their careers,” said AAPC President Mark Mellman. “We are proud to celebrate this very talented group and delighted to welcome Facebook as the official sponsor of the 40 Under 40 Award Ceremony. As a technology firm that achieved amazing success so early after its launch, it’s only fitting that Facebook sponsor the 40 Under 40 Awards program.”
“We are honored to partner with AAPC in sponsoring this ceremony for a second year,” said Crystal Patterson, Government & Politics Outreach Manager, Facebook. “The Pollie Awards & Conference provides an opportunity for us to connect with members of the political community that use our platform to find, persuade and turn out voters. We salute the Class of 2016 and look forward to their continued contributions to the industry.”
The AAPC is dedicated to fostering the next generation of political professionals and is proud to recognize leaders and innovators in the political business community (including media, advertising, polling and public affairs) who are making a mark in their organization and their profession.
