Organizations of all sizes can face harassment suits and suffer business impacts for allowing or enabling misconduct. Federal enforcement agencies have specifically targeted firms with only a handful of employees for failing to prevent and address harassment in order to “send a signal” that even small shops must be proactive. These realities particularly matter in high pressure industries such as political consulting – and where the client may also have wide visibility.
