Davisha L. Johnson serves as CEO of D.L. Johnson Consulting Agency. Since her entry into politics in 2015, her drive, passion and expertise for creating environments of inclusion and diversity in politics has made her a much sought after liaison to community organizers, candidates, community leaders, business owners, local municipalities and elected officials throughout the state of Georgia.
Prior to entering politics, Ms. Johnson juggled being a student, a mother of 4 children (21, 12 and twins 6) and a working professional. She has had to deal with homelessness while recovering from a life-threatening head-on collision. However, during that time, she successfully ran several historic campaigns including the first African American female to become county commissioner, first Asian LGBTQ candidate elected to the Georgia general assembly and her most recent management position for a first time African American female statewide candidate for Insurance Commissioner to gain almost 2 million votes in a general election.
Over the past 4 years, Ms. Johnson has several accomplishments from organizations that have acknowledged her track record of success and has been a speaker at several political conferences for her expertise in outreach and engagement with women, millennials and African American communities.
Ms. Johnson is currently the Chief of Staff to Sandra G. Scott; Georgia State House Representative for D76 who is the former Vice Chair of the Georgia Legislative Black Caucus which is the largest in the United States, President and Founder of the Cooperative Executive Management Team which is a farm management services company focusing on Black farmers globally and global project specialist for the Global Africa Business Association and creator of the Ghana Investment Tour focusing on SME’s in Ghana, West Africa.
Her goal now is to focus in on training, government affairs/campaigns, government contracting opportunities and developing political and legislative strategy globally. Her clientele also consists of providing non-profits, start-ups, entrepreneurs, established businesses, municipalities and private individuals with business support services and economic development opportunities throughout the United States and the international landscape.
