Once your registration has been received and processed, a confirmation email will be sent to you with receipt of payment. All payments must be received by the early bird and advance rate deadlines, not postmarked, to receive all early rates. Any registration with outstanding payments by the deadline will be moved into the next registration rate category.

*SPECIAL EVENT TICKETS
The 40 Under 40 Awards Ceremony and Reception, Hall of Fame Luncheon and the Pollie Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony are included with the purchase of a full conference registration ticket. For registered delegates who wish to bring a spouse/guest to these special event functions, individual tickets must be purchased for each function they will attend.  Select Choose Your Adventure tickets sold separately. Wine Auction–AAPC Foundation Fundraiser tickets are not included in the purchase of a full conference registration ticket. All delegates who wish to attend this function must purchase a ticket. 100% of the proceeds from the Wine Auction ticket sales are donated to AAPC’s Education Foundation – a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

ANTI-HARASSMENT AND PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT POLICY
The American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC) is committed to upholding the highest standards for respectful, professional norms and behavior and to fostering an inclusive climate. Consequently, harassment and unprofessional behavior at AAPC events is considered to be a serious form of misconduct. The Anti-Harassment and Professional Conduct Policy modeled closely on the American Political Science Association and Midwest Political Science Association Anti-Harassment Policies, outlines expectations for all who attend and participate in AAPC events and meetings. PRESS
Members of the Press may register for the Pollies on a complimentary basis. A Press pass will provide access to all Conference sessions and luncheons, but no evening functions. Press credentials will be verified. Should you wish to attend the full conference, including the The Pollie Awards Gala Dinner, please register as an attendee. In order to facilitate the free exchange of ideas and candid discussion, all Conference sessions are deemed “Off the Record”. Press may contact individual speakers for express permission for quotes after the fact.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations must be received in writing. A processing fee of $100 will be charged for cancellations received by February 28, 2019. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after February 28, 2019. No refunds will be issued for no-shows. 
Substitutions are welcome in lieu of cancellation anytime.

AAPC MEMBER REGISTRATION POLICY
To be eligible for reduced member pricing, your AAPC membership must be current through April 30, 2019.

Individual, Associate, Academic, Non-Profit, Young Professional and Student AAPC memberships are non-transferable. In order to be eligible for a discounted member registration fee, the individual registering must be the same individual who retains the AAPC membership. Platinum and Gold members may register individuals at the discounted member registration rate who are on their company membership roster. AAPC HOTEL REGISTRATION POLICY
AAPC has secured a discounted block of rooms at the Meritage Resort & Spa for registered conference attendees. To ensure ample sleeping rooms within AAPC’s group block are available for registered attendees, in order to book your room at the Meritage Resort & Spa for the 2019 Pollie Awards & Conference, you must first register for the event. Instructions on how to book will be included in your confirmation email.
