Campaigns depend on the United States Postal Service® to reach voters directly in their homes. It’s safe, reliable and effective. And in these challenging times, more elections will also rely on vote-by-mail to give voters an alternative way to participate in democracy.
Since 2016, the American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC) has partnered closely with the Postal Service to provide our members with up-to-date information on the latest operational enhancements and effectiveness of direct mail as a medium to engage voters. To this end, we partner on research each year to learn more about current voter perceptions on political advertising channels, including combining direct mail with other political advertising channels and voter outreach.
You can find here this year’s joint whitepaper, Building Trust with Voters: In a Time of Heightened Skepticism, New Research Reveals Voters Still Trust Political Mail, originally planned for release at the annual Pollie Awards & Conference. I urge you to take a moment to read about the research results and important trends that will enhance your strategy to effectively communicate with voters.
Sincerely,
Rose Kapolczynski
