Business Development Director- DSPolitical

MaryEllen is an experienced political operative with a demonstrated history of advancing progressive change both at the local and federal levels. Skilled in nonprofit organizations, communications, policy analysis, campaigns, and government, she is focused on building progressive movements. Currently, MaryEllen is the Business Development Director for DSPolitical, managing digital ad campaigns for clients and candidates up and down the ballot from the West Coast to the East Coast.

MaryEllen’s commitment to building power rooted in equity and social justice is evident in her board service with organizations like New Leaders Council (NLC), Annie’s List, and Planned Parenthood South Texas. Additionally, she is the Los Angeles NLC Chapter Co-Director and a 2021 Political Partner for the Truman National Security Project.

Prior to serving as the Business Development Director for DSPolitical, MaryEllen served as Deputy Chief of Staff and District Director to U.S. Representative Lloyd Doggett (D-Texas).
