Notes: Alabama primary for congressional districts 1, 2, 6, and 7 falls 8/11/26 with a 90-day opening active as of 5/13/26. Tennessee's window applies year-round to incumbents; 120 days before voting for non-incumbents. California has layered laws: AB 2355 (always active) + AB 730/972 (60-day window). Minnesota's law applies 90 days before its nominating convention or when absentee voting starts, whichever is earlier (DFL convention 5/29/26 → 2/28/26; GOP convention TBD). Idaho: per Idaho Code 67-6602(6), applies to electioneering communications 30 days before the primary, 60 days before the general. Montana: 60 days before voting begins (includes early/absentee voting).
