2024 Summer Internship Program

2024 Summer Internship Opportunity with AAPC Foundation

The AAPC Foundation’s Internship Program provides rising seniors and recent college graduates interested in entering the field of politics an opportunity to gain professional work experience with AAPC member firms that are leaders in the fields of political consulting and public affairs.

The 2024 Summer paid internship program will be held from June 3, 2024 to August 5, 2024. Summer interns will work full-time only, no more than 40 hours per week, for a total stipend of $6,000 provided by the AAPC Foundation.

October 7, 2024AAPC Member Firms invited to apply to host Summer Intern
November 22, 2024Host Firm applications due to AAPC Foundation
December 16, 2024Available Internships at selected Host Firms posted
February 7, 2025Internship postings close
February 17, 2025Host Firms review applications and conduct interviews with prospective Interns
March 10, 2025Host Firms notify AAPC Foundation of selected candidates
March 21, 2025AAPC Foundation initiates Agreements with Host Firms and Interns
June 2, 2025Internships begin
Week of July 1, 2025AAPC Foundation Conducts midpoint consultation with all Interns
August 1, 2025Internships End and AAPC Foundation debriefs with Host Firms and Interns
