In 2011, Jennifer Mathews formed Angle Mastagni Mathews Political Strategies (AMM Political) with J.D. Angle and Danee Mastagni after working together for ten years at The Tyson Organization. AMM Political is focused exclusively on voter contact and telephone communication programs including targeting and scripts that enhance retention of other paid media.
In 2012 and 2008, Jennifer worked directly with the analytics team at Obama for America as a data collection partner. With Jennifer’s oversight, AMM Political was one of the few phone firms who produced consistent, verifiably high quality data and set the standard for weekly quality goals. On the persuasion side, OFA placed a high level of confidence in AMM Political’s ability to engage voters in persuasive conversations and problem solve when they needed to find ways to reach beyond the traditional phone program and grow the electorate.
Jennifer applies this data centric focus to all of her clients and is consistently involved in testing and data collection projects for organizations around the country including the Analyst Institute, Blue Labs, and Clarity Campaigns. A sample of Jennifer’s past and current clients include: Obama for America, Democratic National Committee, Democratic Governors Association, Senator Maria Cantwell, Senator Barbara Boxer, Congressman Marc Veasey, Congressman Pete Gallego, Planned Parenthood Action Fund, SEIU, Working America, Victory Fund, Florida Democratic Party, Florida Education Association, Governor Jay Inslee, SEIU Healthcare Illinois and Indiana, Senator Wendy Davis (TX), Vote No on 8 (FL), Washington House Democrats, Wisconsin Assembly Democrats, and Mayor Annise Parker.
Jennifer has a BA from Southwestern University in Political Science and Sociology, an MA from Stanford University in Latin American Studies and an MA from the University of New Mexico in Political Science. Jennifer teaches part-time at Texas Christian University.
