Jason Thielman currently serves as the Executive Director of the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), where he has played a pivotal role in securing Republican victories and regaining Senate control in the 2024 elections. Under his leadership, the NRSC achieved a historic milestone: flipping the Senate back to Republican control with the largest majority since 2014, holding every Republican incumbent, and gaining four additional seats.
In 2012, Jason partnered with Senator Steve Daines, serving as Campaign Chairman during Daines’ successful bid for the U.S. House. This partnership continued through Daines’ 2014 Senate campaign, where Jason provided critical guidance as Chief of Staff. When Senator Daines became Chairman of the NRSC, Jason was appointed Executive Director, tasked with overseeing the committee’s operations and advancing its mission to strengthen the Republican Senate majority.
A proud native of Montana, Jason began his career as a Marketing Officer at Union Bank and Trust before transitioning into politics. In 2001, he served as Chief of Staff to former Montana Secretary of State Bob Brown. This role set the stage for his career as a trusted political strategist and leader.
Jason lives in Alexandria, VA, with his wife, Erin, and their three children: Alexander, Abigail, and Andrew. He continues to shape the national political landscape with his strategic acumen, steadfast leadership, and dedication to advancing Republican values.
