Dr. Michael John Burton is a scholar with deep experience in high-consequence decision-making. Now an associate professor of Political Science at Ohio University, he has been involved in national politics for three decades, including work in the office of Vice President Al Gore. He has co-written Campaign Craft: The Strategies, Tactics, and Art of Political Campaign Management and Campaign Mode: Strategic Vision in Congressional Elections. Dr. Burton serves as an academic member of the board of the American Association of Political Consultants. He volunteers in the Colorado Rockies as an EMT for Silverton Medical Rescue.

Most recently, Erica served as digital director for the American Action Network and Congressional Leadership Fund. She has also served as the digital director for various committees on Capitol Hill. Prior to her work in government, Erica worked at a consulting firm where she developed and implemented digital strategy for a variety of organizations, candidates, elected officials and Fortune 500 companies.
