Alana Joyce
Executive Director
In 2011, Alana Joyce was appointed Executive Director of the American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC) where she oversees all AAPC general management, membership growth and retention, as well as annual conference functions including the Pollie Awards to recognize excellence in political consulting practices. AAPC has been managed by Association Management Group (AMG) since 2010 and is the largest, bi-partisan association of political and public affairs professionals in the world.
An experienced program leader and innovator, Joyce’s deep background brings 20 years of developing and implementing strategic plans to grow non-profit organizations’ customers, revenues and influence through profitable, world class educational programs, partnerships, certification courses and research initiatives. She has held senior positions with various non-profit organizations including Global Business Travel Association (GBTA), Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) and the Smithsonian Institution. She has additional expertise in adult and web-based learning and has been tapped to speak on these subjects at several national Conferences. She holds a BA and secondary teacher certification from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI.

Beckie Souleymane
Managing Director
As Managing Director, Beckie works closely with the Executive Director to oversee the operational and administrative functions of AAPC including developing educational programming and targeted marketing and communications strategies that advance AAPC’s mission. Beckie was appointed Managing Director in 2015 after first joining AAPC as the Membership & Marketing Manager in 2013.
Beckie has worked in the association industry for over 9 years and brings experience in various facets of association management including membership development, strategic planning, marketing and communications, program development, volunteer management and meeting planning. Previously, Beckie served as Program Manager for the American Society of Ophthalmic Administrators (ASOA), Account Manager for the Health Care Administrators Association (HCAA) and Executive Director for the Professional Association for Investment Communications Resources (PAICR).

Jenn Cutri
Education & Event Planning Manager
Jenn joined AAPC as Education and Event Planning Coordinator in December, 2015 and works with the Managing Director to execute and support AAPC’s events and educational programming. She also oversees the annual Pollie Contest.

Angela Pubal
Marketing Manager
As the AAPC Membership and Marketing Manager, Angela works closely with the Managing Director to develop and communicate AAPC’s membership value to both prospective and current members. She overlooks membership onboarding and retention, maintains AAPC’s social media presence, manages the production of the monthly e-newsletter, and more. Angela would love to hear from you if you have any suggestions or questions about your AAPC membership!
Angela is an Honors graduate from West Virginia University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
