Located in the beautiful Coachella Valley, a short drive from Palm Springs, La Quinta Resort & Club is the Conference host hotel, where educational conference sessions will take place.
ATTIRE- WHAT TO WEAR
Conference attire is “Resort Wear”. For Palm Springs, CA in April this typically means dressing in light, comfortable clothing that is appropriate for warmer weather. Evening resort attire for men is dress slacks, dark jeans or linen pants, polo style shirts, button down shirts, loafers, or sandals. For women: dress slacks or dark jeans, skirts, blouse, shifts, sundress or maxi dress, wedges, and/or dress sandals. For our Wednesday evening dinner ‘under the stars’ to celebrate our Hall of Fame & Campaign Excellence Awards, we’re going a little bit fancier with the option of “Hollywood glam or cocktail attire.”
Daytime resort attire includes the same clothing suggestions as evening resort plus tailored shorts can be worn as well. Nothing fancy, but generally no t-shirts, casual jeans, cutoffs, or tank tops. Keep in mind: it gets cooler in the evenings and meeting rooms (indoors, air-conditioned) can also feel cool, so it would be appropriate to have a light sweater, wrap or light jacket for your comfort.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS
The cutoff date to book rooms within AAPC’s discounted block at La Quinta Resort & Club has passed (March 18, 2023). There is limited availability on varying nights within the AAPC block at La Quinta Resort & Club due to the high demand. While there are still rooms available outside of the block at La Quinta Resort & Club, here is a list of nearby properties to consider:

AAPC reserves the right to cancel hotel reservations without notice for anyone in the discounted block who is not registered to attend the Conference. The only approved housing provider of AAPC’s discounted block of attendee rooms for the 2023 Pollie Conference is the La Quinta Resort & Club. La Quinta Resort & Club will not call or email you to solicit room sales. If you are contacted by a different housing provider, please inform Beckie Souleymane at [email protected]. Booking through a non-approved housing provider infringes upon AAPC’s ability to meet our contractual obligations with the La Quinta Resort & Club.
