Political Director- Assemblyman Tom Lackey

George Andrews serves as Chief of Staff to California State Assemblyman Tom Lackey (R-Palmdale), Vice-Chairman of the Assembly Public Safety Committee. Since Lackey’s election to the state legislature in 2014, Andrews has been his senior staff advisor on policy measures impacting his Southern California district.

Andrews has held nearly every legislative staff position over the years. Having started as an intern and worked his way up to a Field Representative, District Director, Capitol Director, and Chief of Staff. He has also run numerous successful targeted campaigns for Assembly, Senate, and Congress.

In 2015, The Magazine of Santa Clarita recognized Andrews as an SCV 40 Under Forty honoree and the National Association of Asian Pacifics in Politics and Public Affairs (NAAPPPA) 40 Under 40 honoree in 2016.
