Political Director- NRSC

Tim Edson is the Political Director at the National Republican Senatorial Committee.  Prior to NRSC, Edson managed and consulted campaigns and independent expenditure efforts in more than two dozen states.  Edson has worked as a Managing Director at FP1 Strategies, a political and public affairs consulting firm, and served as National Field Director for the Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America and Women Speak Out PAC.  Edson has written and produced award winning advertising for gubernatorial, Senate and House races. He was recognized in 2020 by the American Association of Political Consultants as one of its 40 Under 40.   Edson has also worked as a Deputy Chief of Staff and Communications Director on Capitol Hill as well as a legislative and press aide in the Virginia General Assembly. He is a graduate of Virginia Tech and lives in Washington, DC.
