Nikki is an Emmy Award winning television anchor, political journalist at FOX40 in Sacramento and co-host of Inside California Politics, Nexstar Media’s weekly statewide political show.

During  her 17 years as a broadcast journalist, Nikki has interviewed notable figures like former Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Presidents George W Bush, Barack Obama, and Donald Trump, Senators Alex Padilla, Kamala Harris,

Governors Jerry Brown, Gavin Newsom and Gray Davis and  also former Defense Secretary and CIA Director Leon Panetta among others.

She is a highly regarded political debate moderator, most recently moderating  the 2024 U.S. Senate primary debate to replace the late-Senator Dianne Feinstein.

Before joining the Nexstar Media Group in California, Nikki worked as an anchor and political journalist in both Texas and Montana. She is a proud graduate of the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication at Washington State University.
